How to Reach Akrata in Greece
Akrata is a seaside town located on the northern coast of the Peloponnese, in Greece. If you're planning to visit Akrata, there are several ways to get there:
- By Car: The easiest way to reach Akrata is by car. From Athens, you can take the National Road Athens-Corinthos-Patras (E94) and then turn onto the provincial road that leads directly to Akrata. The drive takes about two hours and offers stunning views of the Gulf of Corinth and the surrounding mountains.
- By Bus: If you don't have a car, you can take a bus from Athens to Akrata. The bus journey takes about three hours and is operated by the public transportation company, KTEL. You can check the bus schedule and purchase tickets online or at the bus station in Athens.
- By Train: You can also take a train from Athens to Akrata. The train departs from the Athens Railway Station and takes about two and a half hours to reach Akrata. However, please note that the train schedule is limited and may not be the most convenient option.
