By air
- Start by locating the nearest major airport to Berkeley Lake. The Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) is the closest international airport, located approximately 40 miles southwest of Berkeley Lake.
- From the airport, you can choose to rent a car or use public transportation to reach Berkeley Lake.
- If you decide to rent a car, exit the airport and head north on Interstate 85 (I-85) towards the city of Atlanta.
- Continue on I-85 for approximately 30 miles until you reach Exit 104, which leads to Pleasant Hill Road.
- Take Exit 104 and merge onto Pleasant Hill Road heading west.
- Continue on Pleasant Hill Road for about 5 miles until you reach Berkeley Lake Road.
- Take a right onto Berkeley Lake Road.
- Follow Berkeley Lake Road for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach Berkeley Lake.
If you prefer to use public transportation, you can take the MARTA (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority) train from the airport to the Doraville Station.
- From the airport, follow signs to the MARTA station located inside the airport.
- Take the MARTA train northbound on the Gold Line towards Doraville.
- Get off at the Doraville Station.
- From the Doraville Station, you can either take a taxi or use a ridesharing service to reach Berkeley Lake.
- Provide the driver with the address and directions to Berkeley Lake.
Once you reach Berkeley Lake, you can enjoy its beautiful scenery, recreational activities, and the lake itself.
