Buda

Buda is a small city located in Hays County, Texas, United States. Situated just 15 miles southwest of Austin, Buda is part of the Austin-Round Rock metropolitan area. With a population of approximately 17,000 people, it offers a peaceful and close-knit community for residents.

Buda has a rich history that dates back to the mid-1800s when the city was established as a stop along the International-Great Northern Railroad. Originally named Du Pre, the city was later renamed Buda in honor of the Hungarian capital, Budapest.
