Chibok

Chibok is a small town located in Borno State, northeastern Nigeria. It gained international recognition and prominence due to a tragic event that occurred on April 14, 2014. On this fateful day, more than 270 schoolgirls were kidnapped from the Government Secondary School in Chibok by the extremist group Boko Haram.
