Djibo

Djibo is a town located in the Sahel region of Burkina Faso, a landlocked country in West Africa. It serves as the capital of the Soum Province and is situated approximately 200 kilometers north of the country's capital, Ouagadougou. Djibo is known for its strategic location, as it lies near the border with Mali and Niger, making it a significant crossroads for trade and transportation in the region.

The town of Djibo has a population of around 30,000 people, predominantly belonging to the Fulani ethnic group.
