Dordrecht

Dordrecht is a city and municipality located in the province of South Holland, Netherlands. Situated on the island of Dordrecht, it is one of the oldest cities in the country and has a rich history dating back to the 12th century. The city is strategically positioned at the confluence of three major rivers: the Merwede, the Noord, and the Oude Maas. This advantageous location has made Dordrecht an important trading and transportation hub throughout its existence.
