Kambia, Sierra Leone

Kambia is a district located in the northern part of Sierra Leone. It is one of the sixteen districts in the country and is situated in the Northwestern Province. The district shares borders with two other districts, namely, Port Loko to the southwest and Bombali to the southeast. Kambia is also bordered by the Republic of Guinea to the northeast, making it a significant gateway between Sierra Leone and its neighboring country.

The district is predominantly rural, with agriculture being the main economic activity. The fertile soil in Kambia supports the cultivation of various crops, including rice, cassava, groundnuts, and palm oil.
