Kousseri

Kousseri is a city located in the Far North Region of Cameroon. It serves as the capital of the Logone-et-Chari department and is situated on the banks of the Chari River, which forms the natural border between Cameroon and Chad. The city has a population of approximately 200,000 people, primarily composed of the Kanuri ethnic group.

Kousseri is a bustling commercial and transportation hub in the region, with its strategic location near the border facilitating trade and cross-border activities. The city is known for its vibrant markets, where a wide variety of goods, including foodstuffs, textiles, and household items, are bought and sold.
