Fall back in love with The Assheton Arms, the beating heart of the picture-perfect village of Downham. We are delighted to bring this iconic village inn back to its former glory, retaining the charm and character it is known and loved for. Stepping through the door is like greeting an old friend. Flagstone floors, low-beamed ceilings and log burning stoves provide the warmest of welcomes. The 12 beautifully designed bedrooms are worth staying in bed for, but the hearty breakfast will be worth getting up for! Re-opening in February 2023 for drinks, dining, overnight stays and everything in between. We can’t wait to welcome you back.
