Marechal Deodoro

Marechal Deodoro, also known as Marechal Deodoro da Fonseca, was a significant figure in the history of Brazil. Born on August 5, 1827, in Alagoas, Brazil, Deodoro was a military officer and politician who played a vital role in the establishment of the Brazilian Republic. He was the first president of Brazil, serving from 1889 to 1891.

Deodoro began his military career at a young age, joining the Brazilian Army and quickly rising through the ranks.
