Markowa

Markowa is a small village located in southeastern Poland. It is situated in the Lublin Voivodeship, within the Łańcut County. The village is known for its rich history and picturesque landscapes. Unfortunately, their acts of bravery were discovered, and the entire Ulma family, along with the Jews they were hiding, were executed by the German forces. Today, a memorial dedicated to the Ulma family stands in Markowa, serving as a reminder of their courage and sacrifice.
