Ruangwa

Ruangwa is a district located in the Lindi Region of Tanzania in East Africa. It is situated in the southeastern part of the country, bordered by the Kilwa District to the north, the Nachingwea District to the east, the Lindi Rural District to the west, and the Ruvuma River to the south, which separates Tanzania from Mozambique.

The district covers an area of approximately 9,626 square kilometers and has a population of around 203,000 people, consisting mainly of the Makonde and Yao ethnic groups.
