Talmon

Talmon is a small settlement located in the West Bank, specifically in the Binyamin Region. It is situated approximately 30 kilometers north of Jerusalem, making it a part of the disputed territories between Israel and Palestine. Talmon is home to a population of around 1,200 people, mainly consisting of Jewish settlers.

The settlement of Talmon was established in 1989 as part of the Israeli government's efforts to create a Jewish presence in the West Bank. It was named after the biblical city of Talmon, which is mentioned in the Book of Joshua. The community is known for its religious and Zionist orientation, with many of its residents adhering to Orthodox Judaism.

Talmon is surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes, including rolling hills, olive groves, and vineyards. The settlement itself is characterized by its red-roofed houses and well-maintained streets.
