Tehachapi

Tehachapi is a city located in the southern part of Kern County, California, United States. Situated in the Tehachapi Mountains, the city is nestled at an elevation of approximately 3,970 feet (1,210 meters) above sea level. Tehachapi spans across an area of 10.0 square miles (26 square kilometers) and is home to a diverse population.

One of the notable features of Tehachapi is its picturesque natural surroundings. The city offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, including the prominent Tehachapi Pass, which is a crucial transportation route connecting the Central Valley to the Mojave Desert.
